The Montana 4-H Council has worked to update their by-laws to better serve the volunteers of Montana 4-H.
Why did they council change the bylaws? The council has struggled over the years to have a full membership on the Executive Committee. The council also struggled to get representation across the Montana. The changes also provide a clear direction for the future of the council.
What changed? Instead of using the district map we used the three Extension Regions (West, Central and East). There will be two volunteers, one MSU Extension Agent and one youth form each region. The Council will support volunteers with a focus on training, networking and recognition.
