CREWS, the Consortium for Research on Environmental Water Systems, is offering free coloring sheets and colored pencil sets for youth-serving organizations in and near the

  • Upper Clark Fork River Basin,
  • the Judith River Watershed, and
  • the Powder River Basin.

(These are the three study sites of CREWS, which is the current research project of Montana NSF EPSCoR. If you are not sure whether you are located in or near these areas, see this map and feel free to email us at taylor@montana.edu)

Youth-serving organizations such as libraries, 4-H clubs, Scout troops, schools, etc. may request up to 100 total sets. The coloring sheets feature black and white illustrations depicting the unique CREWS researchers and work that occurs at each site. The backside of each coloring sheet features more information about the watershed, the kinds of CREWS research and work occurring there, and the research project as a whole.

For any questions about this program, please contact Suzi Taylor with the MSU Science Math Resource Center at taylor@montana.edu.

You may also download copies of each coloring sheet at no charge from this page.
